Visit the Bitterroot Valley, Montana

You may begin seeing more of a push to bring tourism to the Bitterroot Valley (that includes leisure travelers, business travelers, weddings, etc).  That's because there's a relatively new group of hoteliers & residents formed in the Valley, called the TBID.  What exactly is it?  TBID stands for “Tourism Business Improvement District” and essentially, every single night you stay in a hotel room, there is a very minimal fee which is assessed to your room rate (it's such a small fee, we promise you don't know it's happened!).

Although TBID is the name of the group, they're funding an effort called “Visit the Bitterroot.”  When thousands of rooms are filled throughout the year, that provides thousands of dollars towards a marketing budget to bring more attention to the valley.  Therefore, that fee funds marketing programs to promote the Bitterroot Valley as a premier travel destination, thereby enhancing economic vitality.  We love the TBID, because they’re trying to bring attention to our beautiful Bitterroot Valley, just like we are!

Recently, part of the TBID funds went towards making a beautiful video that really captures what life in the Bitterroot  Valley is all about, and we’d like to share it with you below!  Go to www.visitbitterrootvalley.com to get involved, and see what they’re up to!  The Bitterroot Valley is a beautiful place to stay and play, and ESPECIALLY to get married!
